Purpose
The Public Entity of St. Eustatius (OLE) has sought funding to develop project plans as part of its ongoing socio-economic development initiatives, Regiodeal and Programma Statia 2026. The current project plan aims to launch a campaign to highlight the unique nature of St. Eustatius, both on land and at sea. This initiative is an integral component of the broader Statia 2026 program. This program supports the 250th anniversary celebration of the First Salute in 2026. On November 16, 1776, St. Eustatius became the first nation to recognize the United States as an independent country.
Approach
During the period of January 7th to 15th, a working visit was conducted to St. Eustatius. A significant number of stakeholders were engaged in interviews. Additionally, various locations were visited. Upon returning to Curaçao, the necessary documentation was prepared.
Product
The promotional campaign document outlined the promotion of five niche markets related to nature. The document comprised 86 pages. An additional 100-page document provided a comprehensive analysis of the niche markets, offering detailed insights and suggestions for enhancing their development.
